Sharing large files—everything from video and photography to hefty presentation decks—is an important part of many businesses’ workflows. With multiple team members working on these files, any one of them can easily be synchronized hundreds of times over the course of a project. That means transfers need to be as efficient as possible, a point that we take to heart. Better efficiency means faster project completion which can ultimately lead to better business outcomes for our customers.

We've designed the technologies that drive Dropbox—which were recently rated “best-in-class” by IDC—to sync faster and use less bandwidth than the competition. And according to a new study1 we commissioned with Principled Technologies, we’re helping businesses share faster and stay productive.

Consume less bandwidth

Dropbox Business used less bandwidth for large file sharing. Lower bandwidth consumption can improve the experience of others on the network and can reduce networking costs.

Share faster

In addition to using less bandwidth, Dropbox Business shared large files faster than the competition.

Fast and efficient sync is one way Dropbox Business helps organizations realize positive ROI. Construction company  Brandt was able to use this speed to shorten their service documentation process by 10x and recognize $500,000 in monthly revenue earlier. They calculated a 300% ROI in the third year based on that savings alone.
