We’re excited to announce that Eric Cox is joining Dropbox as our new Chief Customer Officer.
In this role, he’ll lead our Go-to-Market organization, which will include the Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Business Development teams at Dropbox.
We’re at an important moment in our transformation as we leverage AI and machine learning to accelerate our product vision and mission. The new era of distributed and flexible work requires new tools to help manage the content proliferation and information overload we all experience, and we’re well on our way to addressing these challenges for our customers. In his new role as Chief Customer Officer, Eric will unify our go-to-market teams, and ensure our customers understand how our products can help them stay organized, and get the most out of their content and workflows, so they can focus on their most important work.
Eric brings over two decades of SaaS and go-to-market experience, along with a strong track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing global teams. He joins us from Vimeo, where he was the Chief Operating Officer overseeing sales, customer success, data, strategy and operations. Prior to that, Eric spent 19 years at Adobe in a variety of roles, from leading digital media GTM sales for the Americas, to serving as the VP of Digital Media for business, to managing product marketing, sales, strategy, analytics and operations across Adobe Creative Cloud and Document Cloud. In these roles, he helped deliver multiple strategic transformations that included scaling Adobe’s eCommerce business and transitioning to a SaaS subscription business model.
Eric’s extensive SaaS and B2B experience, deep industry expertise, and passion for our customers, will be invaluable as we bring our new products to market, and usher in our next phase of growth. We’re thrilled to welcome Eric to the team.
