Customers often tell us that they get more out of Dropbox because it integrates with the devices, apps, and services businesses rely on to get things done. But we’re always looking for ways to raise the bar — and today, we’re excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Dell.
This partnership will give businesses several ways for employees to work better together. For starters, Dell will offer Dropbox for Business to its customers as a solution to help employees access company information from wherever they are, and let IT maintain control over corporate data. In addition, Dropbox will soon be pre-installed on several key Dell devices, so employees can always have their work at their fingertips. The partnership will also bring Dropbox for Business integration into Dell Data Protection | Cloud, part of the Dell Data Protection solutions portfolio.
This is just the start, and over the coming months you can expect continued developments for both businesses and individuals. Brett Hansen, Dell’s executive director of end user computing software, says, "Dropbox is one of the most innovative and fastest growing companies, and the most popular solution of its kind. Together, Dropbox and Dell can help organizations embrace the consumerization of IT in the corporate environment while protecting company data."
