Save time on approvals by viewing feedback from Replay within Pro Tools.

We’ve worked closely with audio and video creators around the world to develop Dropbox Replay. In our research, we’ve heard the same stories—production budgets are getting tighter, timelines are being crunched, and managing feedback on mixes and edits is tough when everyone can’t be in the same room.

That’s why we wanted to ensure that audio engineers, musicians, film composers, and video editors have simple ways to manage feedback on the content they share—and that those solutions work with the tools creatives rely on every day.

Today, we’re excited to announce our new partnership with AVID Technology, Inc, which helps audio professionals deliver their projects faster in Pro Tools. Now you can connect Replay to your Pro Tools workstation, then import comments into your mixes. This makes it faster to find that precise change that’s needed, and take action.

“With more and more audio collaborations, podcast interviews, and film mixes happening remotely, the need to centralize feedback and bring it into your editing tools is vital,” said Andy Wilson, Senior Director of New Product Solutions at Dropbox. “With Pro Tools and Replay, we’re helping the world’s best audio creators fast-track their post-production reviews and get to sign off quicker.”

In fact, according to a Dropbox research survey*, 70% of Replay users who achieved a faster workflow said they reduced their project time by one day a week or more. And with the Pro Tools Integration, audio professionals will be able save even more time by bringing feedback onto the timeline.

"Ensuring creators can collaborate effectively is of the utmost importance to us at Avid," said Rob D'Amico, Sr. Director of Product Management at Avid. "With so many of our customers utilizing Dropbox already, this is a natural fit for Pro Tools and a great application of the Pro Tools Scripting SDK that brings the ability to give feedback and notes easily into our workflow.”
