Moving footage from camera to the cloud is a time-consuming task that slows down the production process: download the footage, upload it to the cloud, and then transfer it into another tool for editing and review. Today, we’re excited to introduce a new integration between Atomos, Dropbox and Dropbox Replay that simplifies this process and makes it easier for video creators to manage and review their content.

With the Dropbox and Atomos integration, creators using Atomos’ cloud connected Ninja or Shogun monitor-recorders can send footage directly to Dropbox via Atomos Cloud Studio. Once in Dropbox, the footage is safe, accessible from anywhere, and can easily be organized and shared with others. With the Atomos and Dropbox Replay integration, creators can start gathering feedback from their team or clients remotely. This means creators can review footage from anywhere, share with collaborators, and gather feedback in real time, making it much more seamless to shoot and jump straight into post-production.

“Camera-to-cloud has been a game-changer for video production,” says Jeromy Young, CEO of Atomos. “We're delighted to be working with Dropbox to bring even greater productivity to our customers on such a ubiquitous platform.”

These integrations are ideal for video creators and filmmakers whose work requires fast content delivery from the field, and remote review and collaboration. Whether you’re a wedding photographer sharing the top shots with the happy couple or a production team reviewing dailies with your crew, the Dropbox and Atomos partnership streamlines the camera-to-cloud experience for creators so they can focus on their craft instead of file management and content delivery.

“Our partnership with Atomos builds on their years of experience in making it easier to shoot and edit quickly,” says Andy Wilson, Senior Director of New Product Solutions at Dropbox. “I’m really excited to build on our sharing and collaboration tools to make remote video productions easier for our customers, so that they can share content quickly via Dropbox from any set or production location and get sign-off as soon as possible.“
