All your feedback, all in one place: Dropbox Replay’s new feature with Avid Media Composer

Earlier this year, we announced the Avid Pro Tools integration for Dropbox Replay, making it easier for audio professionals to manage feedback and collaborate efficiently. Today, we’re excited to introduce a new feature between Avid Media Composer and Replay, designed to streamline video editing workflows and improve collaboration.

Managing feedback across multiple platforms is a hassle. This is especially true for creative professionals who are constantly switching between tools to decipher fragmented comments, risking miscommunication and avoidable errors. The new Replay for Avid Media Composer feature simplifies this process and equips video editors with solutions that integrate seamlessly with the tools they already use on a daily basis.

With this new feature, comments left in Replay can be viewed directly within Media Composer, streamlining the entire review and editing process. After collaborators leave feedback in Replay, editors can quickly download the Media Composer-compatible text file, import it into Media Composer, and see timestamped comments right in their project. Now, collaborators can see everyone’s feedback all in one place, without switching between tools.

“Avid is excited to be working with Dropbox to expand collaborative options for Media Composer users and Replay,” said Ray Thompson, Senior Director of Partners and Alliances at Avid. “With Dropbox Replay and Avid Media Composer working together, customers can collaborate easier, deliver content on time, and be more efficient overall.”
